When Jeff & Jenn Gilbert jumped into the craft beer industry with Doc G’s Brewing Company in DuBois, PA, Andy started with the logo design. Inspired by 1930’s prohibition images, he and the Gilberts landed on the Bones character, framed by ornate signage. Next, Janet came on board to wireframe the Doc G’s Brewing Company website, bringing it to an optimum point of clarity. What did Doc G’s provide? High quality, exclusive beer flavors. Sadly, the business didn’t end up thriving, but the great design and inspiration had to be shared!
Jeff and Jen were the very first people to hire me after I received my StoryBrand Guide Certification. I was nervous! But they were a little nervous, too, starting a new business so we were a good team. Working with creative people is a joy. And, bonus points, their beer was ridiculously good. RIP Doc G’s!
Fun! That’s what comes to mind when discussing Doc G’s. I love to illustrate and Doc G’s gave me a lot of opportunity from the original prohibition era logo to cans, posters and marketing collateral. Fun Fun Fun!
